The design intention for Shindengen’s DC Solenoids is to achieve maximum power output using minimum size and weight. Shindengen offers a complete line of rotary, push-pull, tubular, open frame, and magnetic latching types. (see details below)
Shindengen solenoids are famous for their high durability, reliability and quality. Performance includes duty cycles from 10% to 100%, and life cycles from 200K to over 10million, depending on the model and options selected.
Visit our Shindengen DC Solenoid Technical Guide for technical terms and other details important to the selection and application of solenoids. Technical guides are also available for each solenoid model, specific to their design and function.
Push-Pull solenoids are engineered to provide a large force from small size with push or pull action. Options include designs for short or medium stroke requirements packaged in a highly permeable steel housing. Featured with standard life cycles of 2million and long-life designs that can achieve up to 10million cycles.
Small Push-Pull solenoids are designed with a small coil and the maximum amount of magnet wire housed in a small space. The solenoid is packaged in steel to obtain the maximum force in a minimum size and weight with push or pull action. Options include a standard life expectancy of up to 5million cycles.
Tubular Solenoids are slender cylinders that feature a large force output in a small size. Housed in steel, they are designed for minimum flux leakage and low operating noise. Options include pull or push types, standard life expectancy of 2million cycles and long-life models that can achieve up to 10million cycles.
Open Frame designs represent the simplest form of construction for solenoids, intended for cost-efficiency and an efficient range of size options. Offered with “pull” force. Options include life expectancy up to 300,000 life cycles.
Permanent Magnet (self-holding) Solenoids provide an instant magnetic force and hold the plunger position without energy to the coil. Designs include one-direction and two-direction models. Options include life expectancy up to 200,000 life cycles.
